Account Executive – Dallas or Kansas City

We are searching for passionate agency sales professionals to join our team with an understanding of the digital advertising industry. You will have excellent relationships with relevant people at media buying agencies and will be responsible for developing mutually successful business relationships with them while representing Digilant. You will make sure our sales are repeatable and that our clients are successful.  Additionally, you will play a key role in defining and shaping our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upsell existing business.
  • Source and close new business to regularly meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Build an excellent understanding of Digilant’s products and evangelize in the market.
  • Build agency/direct client relationships with all levels.
  • Reach out to potential clients, perform in person presentations to media professionals, create RFP’s, and close accounts.
  • Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Deliver product feedback to management to ensure the product is customer facing and focused.
  • Manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations.
  • Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results.
  • Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences.
  • Travel to other markets if necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years sales experience in online advertising.
  • Agency and client contacts at all levels is a plus.
  • Experience in audience-based selling and or programmatic digital media is preferred.
  • Active in industry trade and networking events.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work.
  • “Hunter mentality” with a sales consultants touch.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Staff Accountant – Boston, Massachusetts

Staff Accountant

Description:

We are seeking a polished and detail oriented team player capable of taking on various aspects of accounting support with increasing responsibility as the company continues to grow globally.

The Staff Accountant will report into the Controller and have a variety of responsibilities in mainly in the areas of order entry, accounts receivable invoicing and collections, as well as periodically, some accounts payable. Note however that a majority of the workload for this individual will surround the A/R cycle.

This will require the Staff Accountant to regularly work with customers, internal ad operations staff and Company management in order to resolve issues and gather the data needed to ensure accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing sales orders for new and existing customers for the Company’s global operations;
  • Ensure timely, accurate preparation and distribution of customer invoices on a monthly basis;
  • Build and manage relationships to ensure quick resolution of customer billing discrepancies and the timely collection of customer accounts receivable;
  • Receive, organize and report on customer cash receipts;
  • Assist with other general accounting projects and month-end close work.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience with the A/R cycle a must.
  • Experience with collection of receivables.
  • Moderate to Advanced MS Excel experience (i.e. Vlookups and Pivot Tables).
  • Highly organized, productive, and detail oriented and able to work independently.
  • Polished and professional.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build customer and internal relationships.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects to completion.

  • Identify, pitch and close sales deals.
  • Continuously develop relationships with relevant top tier media buying agencies with detailed attention to client needs, while continuously managing those relationships.
  • Identify needs in the marketplace and help to drive those requirements back to our business.
  • Work collaboratively with all cross-functional teams; including Marketing, Engineering and Ad Operations.
  • Drive awareness of Digilant advertising within the agency and advertising community, while communicating the value of Digilant advertising solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of our products and services by providing informed opinions on internal sales strategies and channel partner feedback. 

Desired Skills & Experience: 

  • 3+ years of successful digital sales experience with consistent overachievement.
  • Understanding of the evolving digital ad technology industry.
  • Experience successfully selling online advertising solutions (CPM, CPC, etc.).
  • Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels with target agencies by means of generating meetings and entertaining clients.
  • Superior verbal, face-to-face, phone and email communication skills.
  • Goal oriented personality with a strong work ethic, commitment to success and a “roll up your sleeves” personality.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Software Engineer – Boston, Massachusetts

Digilant is seeking a highly talented and motivated web user interface Software Engineer. If you are a strong, collaborative and creative developer who enjoys working in a startup type of environment this job is for you! You will work closely with Digilant’s back end development team and operations group to create easy to use user interfaces and promote quality of operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work within the existing LAMP framework to continue to support the development of the Digilant campaign management software
• Work with JavaScript and PHP to support the development of new features
• Participate with the team on implementation design for campaign management software
• Create documentation design and implementation for product requirements
• Participate in the design and development of a new campaign management software

Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of website development experience
• Experience with JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Dojo and jQuery
• ExtJs framework is a big plus
• Strong PHP development experience is necessary and Symfony framework experience is a plus
• Experience with Git, Jira and Scrum
• Experience with digital advertising is a plus
• Knowledge of Linux and Apache
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
